Prices can be a little steep if you are alone but you get what you pay for: almost all the apartments are renovated, inspections every year to make sure they are up to code. The concierge is great, really friendly guy. We barely have to heat in the winter (surrounded on all sides by apartments so we can get heat off our neighbours). The neighbourhood is lovely, you''re right by TMR. 8 minute walk from grocery store, starbucks, post office. 2 RBC banks and a scotiabank within walking distance. The landlord is new as of this year so we could not provide a rating, but the last one was pretty decent.
The washer and dryer are in serious need of updating. In a building of 18 apartments, we only have 2 washers and 2 dryers that barely work and damage your clothes. The building was built in the 60''s so sound travels oddly. What may sound like your neighbour stomping around at 3:00 am is actually the person living 3 apartments down. Wall-to-wall you can''t hear anything though.
