Technically two landlords the wife and the husband. You'll almost never deal with the wife. They are both nice, polite people. For small repairs he fixes right away, but other stuff he just never does it.

He and his 'fixer-uper man' have gone on our back and front balconies without warning us (for legitimate repairs) several times and have seen my ex and me nude several times through those windows. I told him he legally has to ask us when he can go onto our rented space or at least warn us, but he shrugged it off every time and has gone into our back balcony locker several times without our consent. He does respect my rule of not coming into the apartment unless we schedule it though.

The landlord pressures us 6 months or so before the lease is due to sign the renewal to see if we'll be renting again. He refuses to let anyone wait until right before April (3 months notice). Instead of listening to our request to wait until april to make a decision, he sends us a registered letter to us now. (If you do not pay to send a registered letter back within a month, the lease auto accepts you of agreeing to the new terms of next years lease way too early).

No dishwasher outlet and we have to RENT THE WATERHEATER from hydro Quebec ourself. Also the electricity and water are not included into the rent. Bathroom paint is cheap and peels off every winter. The windows, doors and walls are freezing and not insulated well (it hikes up the heating bill a bit).

Anyways, quiet building, near a park, dep, metro and coffee shops. Honestly FOR THE PRICE it is a nice place to live and most places have their problems but this place is clean.
