Don't rent an apartment at this building, building in very bad conditions, at the begining the landlord will tell you he will do many many things but he never does anything. The building isolation is not good, stairs dirty. The landlord goes into the apartments anytime he wants for any reason, no respect for the tenants privacy.

Love the location of the appartment! The janitor (Carlos) is very friendly and helpful. You can easily deal with him for him rather than the landlord.
The landlord is the worst you could ask for. If you have to have repairs done, he is going to tell you not to pressure him to do it. We asked for repairs when we got to the appartment (among which a broken window to get fixed) and he said three months later when we politely reminded him that he would have no time before winter and that it was not a problem, it had been that way for 7 years! After 2 years, we have stopped to ask him to do repairs as we want to have the least contacts with him. He has threatened to sue us several times for the ''''damage'''' we have done to the appartment (holes for the canvas we have hung on the wall). The state of the flat was lamentable when we first arrived, with gums on the floor, spaghettis on the walls, green moss on the windows and cupboards, stencils on the walls covered by patches of white paint. Yet he did not want to provide us with paint, we paid for the flat to be wholly painted with new paint that was not a luxury. He has despicable manners.
