The exterior of the building is well maintained, but the interior is very dirty and poorly maintained. Urgent repairs, such as holes in the ceiling, can take months to complete and use cheap and unskilled labor, so the results are very unpleasant. One needs to live with cracks in the walls and ceiling, chipped trim. When they paint, they are scattered all over the hardware of the light fixtures and the doorknobs. The paint they use is cheap, so it comes off in a year. The bathrooms are full of mold, cracked and missing tiles, and mold mites. The few washers are very old and dirty with broken lint traps. There is no cold water or sometimes no water between 6 and 7 pm. Showers have very low pressure and you can burn yourself when the cold water is suddenly turned off in the middle of the shower. There is a concierge change every 6 months. Cockroaches abound in the kitchen as the furniture is old and sometimes rotten.

Hard to reach landlord directly. Has roaches and sometimes ants. Had many problems with water damage. Dryer doesn't dry clothes properly. Garbage shoot is closed. Elevator often broken. Mailbox has no locks easy for people to steal packages. Heater in winter not high, very cold, you need a space heater. Only good thing is large space sound proof to an extent and 2 bathrooms. They never notify in advance if repairs need to be done or, if construction near the parking, they tell same day. Keep raising rent and do 0 repairs.

Quiet building, well located, banks, shopping, public transit
Repairs very hard to get done, landlord next to impossible to get in contact with, water damage througout the building, impossible to get apartment insurance because of the lack of repairs.
